All classes 50 minute in length and do not require advanced registration,except for springboard/circuit sessions.Classes are limited to 12 participants. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class time. For safety reasons, no one allowed in class 10 minutes after start time.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
*Pilates Springboard- Resistance training using wall mounted springs focusing on upper and lower body strength.Pilates version of weight training;preregistered group(5-6 people)
*Core Circuit- Timed interval stations using the Pilates apparatus such as Reformer, Split Pedal Chair, Trapeze Table, Springboard, Bosu and other equipment; preregisterd group (5-6 people), one private session required.
Intro/Beginner Pilates mat- Learn or review the basics of Pilates, including neutral spine alignment, pilates stance and proper breathing. Great for newcomers to Pilates or CORE. Can also be used as a refresher to really focus in on precision and form.
Beginner/Intermediate Pilates mat- Group mat class for the beginner or intermediate using rings, roller, bands and rotating discs. Intro/Beginner class recommended but not mandatory prior to participation.
Intermediates/Advanced Pilates mat-Challenging mat class for the intermediate/advanced participant using rings, rollers, bands and rotating discs. Several beginner/intermediate classes recommended as well as participant being free from injury
Post Rehab/Senior-For those who would love to try Pilates, but thought it was too intense or difficult. Basic level mat class, taught by a licensed Physical Therapist...for those who may have special needs or physical limitations.
Buff Booty- A ballet inspired workout to strengthen and tone your lower half. Gym shoes recommended for the dance based cardio warm up and leg work.
Senior Sitting/Standing Class - This class is designed by a Physical Therapist for those seniors looking to safely gain strength and flexibility of Pilates without getting on the floor. Improve balance with sitting and and standing exercises, strengthen your core to help functional activities and improve posture and endurance with breathing exercises.
Spin Fusion-
This class combines Spin intervals with Pilates-based upper/lower body and core strength.
Pilates Fusion - A challenging combination of upper/lower body strength, pilates and yoga. This is an intermediate or advanced class.
Teen Variety Class - This class will be taught in a different format each week. Check out the "What's New" section for the month's class format. This class is for teens between the ages of 13 to 18.
Pilates Bootcamp - Experience a variety of cardio and core-based exercises designed to increase strength and flexibility. State-of-the-art Pilates equipment will help you achieve a total body workout that will challenge all fitness levels.
Intro to Pilates - Learn the basics of Pilates mat work and strengthen your core.
